Massachusetts student team coached by MSPE members places first in national MathCounts competition
Four outstanding Massachusetts middle and junior high school students who represented Team Massachusetts won first place in the 2012 National MATHCOUNTS Competition.
MATHCOUNTS is a national competition in math enrichment sponsored by Raytheon, NSPE, MSPE and other professional engineering societies. (more…)

The Massachusetts Society of Professional Consultants is saddened to report the passing of Bob Golden, P.E. Bob was a long-time member of MSPE, holding offices at both the Chapter and State levels – including a term as State President. Bob was also called upon frequently at the National level by NSPE to assist in Task Force and Committee work. (more…)

MSPE Celebrates 60th Anniversary aboard Odyssey Boston
[rivasliderpro id=”10″] In celebration of MSPE’s 60th Anniversary of service to the Commonwealth, the Society hosted an elegant Dinner Cruise aboard the Odyssey Boston on Saturday evening, September 15, 2012.
More than 150 MSPE members and their guests took advantage of this unique opportunity to celebrate, network and socialize with fellow Professional Engineers, as well as government officials, engineering leaders from local universities, leaders and members of other engineering societies, and the president of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). MSPE Receives Citation at MA State House for 60 Years of Service
The Massachusetts Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) commemorates 2012 as the society’s 60th anniversary of service to the Commonwealth. MSPE is the state society of licensed engineering professionals from all disciplines that promotes the ethical and competent practice of engineering, advocates licensure, enhances public health and safety, and fosters respect for the engineering profession. MSPE is a part of the National Society of Professional Engineers, which was founded in 1934. (more…)
