March 5 Volunteer & Donor Opportunity: State MATHCOUNTS Competition Determines Students to Represent MA at National Competition
The aftermath of 6 recent MATHCOUNTS Chapter competitions has determined the students and coaches who have earned a coveted invitation to advance to the Massachusetts State Competition. On March 5 at 9:00 a.m. at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, the State Competition will determine which team and individuals will represent Massachusetts at the National MATHCOUNTS Competition on May 7-10 in Washington, DC.
The State Competition will include three rounds of questioning —The Sprint Round, a 40-minute round of 30 questions; the Target Round, four two-question tests with six minutes to answer each; and the Team Round, a 20-minute round of 10 questions.
