MSPE Board Welcomes Anthony Morreale, PE
Anthony M. Morreale, PE, a Senior Engineer at LIG Consultants, Inc. in Hopedale, MA recently joined the MSPE Board of Directors and serves on the MSPE Events Committee. He has answered a brief Q & A so we may know him better. Welcome aboard Anthony, and THANK YOU for your dedication to MSPE.
Why did you join MSPE?
When I earned my P.E. license, it just made sense to join the National and Massachusetts societies. I felt that membership would give me opportunities to stay up to date on the issues that affect me as a professional engineer and to network with other engineers across the country and most importantly right here in Massachusetts.
What is your goal as an engineer?
My goal is to never stop learning. As I move forward in my career, I’m sure my short-term goals will change, but I was initially drawn to engineering to learn about how things work, and I hope that initial passion continues throughout my life as an engineer.
Please describe a project that you’re involved with.
I’m currently working on several Arc Flash Hazard Analysis Studies. Sites for these studies include a New Jersey data center, a New York power generation facility, and a major Massachusetts university. I enjoy working on these projects because they bring me to many unique facilities, and enable me to provide clients with valuable safety-focused service.
How do you spend your free time?
I enjoy spending my free time with friends and family. I also enjoy music, whether listening to it, playing it, or attending live concerts. It’s best when I can combine the people and the music.
